Annie Pomer is the Director of Claims for PMA Insurance Company, overseeing the West and Southwest Regions. In addition to her current role, Annie also serves as the chairperson of PMA’s Inclusion Alliance and was involved in the creation of the two business resource groups (BRGs) at PMA. Annie is an advisory board member for the Hispanic Insurance Risk Management Association (HIRMA), and serves as a Director-at-Large with Kids Chance of California (KCCA), co-chairing the Student Outreach committee. In 2024, Annie achieved the professional designation of Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and she is currently pursuing a graduate degree in English Literature at Sacramento State University. She writes a weekly blog on risk and insurance topics at www.riskfluencer.org, currently serves as a faculty member of Work Comp College and is currently co-authoring a book on the topic of risk management.
